Amira Kramer joins Malech Law focusing her practice on a full spectrum of domestic matters. Amira’s practice concentrates on divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, property and asset division, business valuations and protective orders. Amira zealously represents her clients while tending to each client’s individual needs. She prides herself in providing compassionate representation to all of her clients. Amira assists her clients during these highly contentious, often emotional times with compassion and empathy, reaching cost-effective resolutions that are best for her clients’ families. Amira is certified in collaborative law and can practice as a best interest attorney where she represents children in highly contentious child custody cases.

Amira graduated from George Washington University and Widener University Delaware School of Law. After graduating from GW, she worked as a paralegal for a boutique law firm in Rockville where she learned the components of family law. After graduating from law school, Amira worked as a real estate attorney specializing in mortgage foreclosure by providing legal representation to mortgage lenders, servicers and banks. Amira returned to family law in 2015 to focus her practice on divorce and child custody issues. Amira also has years of experience working as a civil litigator at a civil litigation firm in Bethesda, Maryland.

Amira was named a Maryland Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2019-2020, a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and achievement. Only 2.5% of attorneys are selected to Rising Stars. Amira is currently admitted to practice in Maryland and eligible for waiver into the District of Columbia
